Why using a Mortgage Broker is a better option?
Mortgage brokers have access to many lenders and they can find you deals, or they may be able to find you a loan that banks do not have access too. Ultimately, you are probably more likely to get better rates, lower closing cost, and personalized service with a mortgage broker than without.
Should I get a fixed rate or adjustable rate loan?
Generally a Fixed Rate is your best choice for your new Loan. However, if you know you will not be in your home for the long term, you may find a lower Adjustable Rate is the right choice for you. ARM's are only locked in for 3-5 or 7 years so there is always a risk in choosing this option.
When should I refinance?
When rates drop, typically you want to take advantage of them. However you need to review the true savings. What is the dollar amount I am savings per month by dropping my rate? Do I have to pay closing cost again? That is why working with a professional is the key. We will provide the analysis to make this decision easy.
